Q: I just bought a low mileage 1995 GMC pickup without a hitch. Can I install a Quic'n Easy on a truck this old?
A: Yes, we have mounting kits for most full sized US made pickups from the late 80's to the current models.
Q: My dealer tells me I will lose my spare tire if I install a DMI hitch. Why?
A: It boils down to space requirements. In order to evenly distribute the tow load we need to mount the system deep onto the vehicle frame. The system also needs room to have the easy hook up and the load cushion coils needed for a safer, stable and more comfortable towing experience. All in all we believe it is a fair tradeoff. If you use your truck for towing frequently the chance that you will want the added safety and convenience of the UTP-DMI system more than the muddy, usually under pressure spare tire.
Q: Can I move my Cush'n Combo from my 2002 Chevy to a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 pickup? If so, do I need any new mounting parts?
A: You bet, we have many customers that move their UTP-DMI Hitch from one truck to another. All you will need is a new mounting kit so everything matches up perfectly.
